The wierd thing was that, if I rebootet my computer, then while windows was reopening, then I WAS ABLE TO SCROLL UP!?. The only thing I didn't try was a different USB-adapter / dock. Ensuring that the Logitech Options and Logitech Options Daemon had Accessibility-access in 'System Preferences' > 'Security & Privacy' > 'Privacy' > 'Accessibility'.Clearing cache and temporary files using CleanMyMac.Plugging in another mouse of the same model (!?).Unplugging mouse, rebooting, plugging in mouse again.Running this in the terminal: sudo kextload /System/Library/Extensions/IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext.Running this in the terminal: sudo kextunload IOUSBMassStorageClass.kext.And regardless of what I did, I couldn't get the scroll to work again. I had my M110-mouse plugged into my docking station (Hyper Gen2 dock). Just a simple restart.īut then the bug returned just now. But a simple restart solved it (no resetting PRAM and/or NVRAM. I then switched computer, where I used Mac's Migration Assistent to move all my files and setup to the new machine.Īfter a while, the bug returned once. įor months, I didn't experience the bug at all. The bug went away for a good amount of time, after having followed the steps from my posted. I just discovered that it happens with the the Mx Anywhere 2s Logitech mouse as well.

I'm looking for a way where I can 'clear the driver cache' for the mouse? Are there any such thing? And the USB-cable is connected to an adapter, and I've tried reconnecting that as well.

So my questions are - have anyone encountered this weirdness? does someone have a solution? is there a way to map the PC keys using the Apple driver (if I'll have to go back to that)? And most important - Do you think Logitech have something personal against me, so they decided to release drivers that work very well for a couple of days and then brake. There are some small things, like because it's a PC keyboard, the mac driver maps the 'special' keys (like control, alt and the start key) differently. I know I can use Apple's drivers and I also tried USB overdrive, but I like to use Logitech's buttons, and even more important, the mouse and keyboard seem to behave better when using their drivers. Only restart makes the mouse buttons work.

This time everything worked again, but also, after a couple of days it didn't respond - only this time after disconnecting and plugging in everything works except the mouse buttons. So after a while I got fed up, I uninstalled it and returned to use Apple's drivers.īut a week or two ago they released a new version of their control center (1.2), so I decided to give it another chance. Disconnecting and plugging in the USB cable of the receiver fixed this, but only temporarily. Now comes the annoying part - after a day or two, the mouse and keyboard stopped responding. But I still wanted to use the propriety Logitech buttons (like volume control and play/pause buttons for iTunes.) So I downloaded the Logitech Control Center thing from their site, and it worked. When I used it for the first time I was pleased to discover that it works with Apple's built in drivers without any problem. I think that the model name is something like Logitech Cordless Keyboard. I have an old Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse (not one of these fancy MX things). This didn't bother so much until recently, but now it really annoys me.
